Rated for continuous 100% sine wave modulation in the range 40 Hz to 10 kHz in ambient temperature 0 to 45ºC. Altitude to 1000 m. Capable of 125% positive modulation

Carrier shift

Not greater than 5% amplitude at 100% modulation

AF response

± 1.5 dB wrt 50% modulation at 1 kHz over the frequency range 40 Hz to 6 kHz. Better than -3 dB at 10 kHz

Distortion-harmonic

Not exceeding 2% THD at modulation levels up to 90% at any modulating frequency in the range 40 Hz to 6 kHz

Intermodulation

With two modulating tones in the range 100 Hz to 5 kHz each modulating the transmitter to 47.5% no intermodulation products exceed -40 dB wrt 100% modulation

Noise level

Amplitude modulated noise in the range 40 Hz to 10 kHz at least 60 dB below 100% modulation

Spurious outputs

When operated into a test load the mean power of any spurious signals will not exceed -60 dB wrt carrier

Harmonics

Harmonics of the carrier frequency will not exceed -50 dB wrt carrier
