HCD specialises in the design, development and manufacture of high stability Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXOs), Frequency Monitoring Equipment and AM/MF Broadcast Transmitters.

The HCD ranges of OCXOs are recognised throughout the world for quality and performance.  They are used extensively in radio communications, satellite, paging, cellular phone systems and many other applications.

HCD's range of Frequency Monitoring Equipment allows the precise monitoring and control of high stability frequency sources.  This range includes a Frequency Difference Meter, Phase Comparator and Off-Air Standard Frequency Receiver (60 and 198 kHz).

Uniquely, HCD have, for almost 30 years, produced a range of low power (<1kw) AM/MF Broadcast Transmitters.  Re-engineered in 2001, these transmitters have exceptional reliability, featuring modular construction and operation by remote control.  Either single transmitters (to 450W maximum) or combined pairs (to 900W maximum) are available.
