Frequency Difference Indicator

The Frequency Difference Meter compares two signals of high stability and displays small frequency differences on a centre zero meter.  The basic model is effective over the frequency range 0.1 to 1.5 MHz with a resolution of 10-4 Hz (1 x 10-10 at 1 MHz).  Optional frequency dividers may be preset internally to ratios of 2, 5, or 10, separately for each channel.  This extends the operating range to 15MHz or alternatively allows reduced sensitivity for a given input frequency.
Input Frequency - basic model 0.1 to 1.5MHz
Input Frequency - with dividers
÷2 0.2 to 3.0MHz
÷5 0.5 to 7.5MHz
÷10 1.0 to 15.0MHz
Input Level 0.5 to 2.0V rms
Input Impedance 50ohms
Display - basic model ±1 x 10-3 Hz full scale with resolution of 1 x 10-4 Hz (equivalent to full scale reading of 1 x 10-9 and a resolution of 1 x 10-10 at 1MHz)
Display - with dividers ±N x 10-3 Hz full scale where N is the input divide ratio
LED Indicators Gives 'in range' indication, and is absent if:
frequency difference is >
either input is absent or low
signal noise is too high for reliable operation
Accuracy At Centre Zero
At FSD
Power Supply 230V AC, 50Hz
24V DC option
Dimensions Rack mounted Euronorm module 21HP wide
128.5mm high
106.3mm wide
254.0mm deep
Options Output alarm if preset frequency difference level is exceeded
External Output for data logging
